All JEM Center classes are conducted in plain English.   Classes are open to Jewish men and women of all ages unless otherwise noted.

Torah Insider: Wednesday 8:00 PM
An inside view of the weekly Torah portion through the teachings of the Sages of the Talmud and the classsic commentators.   No background or text is necessary.   Please ask any questions you have; we enjoy answering.  
    Meets in the conference room of Temple Kol Emeth.

Practical Jewish Law for Beginners: 90 minutes before Sundown, Saturday afternoon
An introduction to the intracacies and reasons of practical Jewish Law from classical texts, for men only.
    Meets at Congregation Anshei Chesed.

Talmud for Beginners 7:30 - 8:30 PM, Thursday Night
If you want to study Talmud but have always thought it too difficult - we've got a program for you!

  • Class geared toward beginners

  • Easy to read text and linear, translated, workbooks
  • Experienced teacher
